with the annotation as to the edition of HC 8/25 (There was and edition of 159 examples numbered 1/150 to 150/150 and a further 25 examples numbered HC 1/25 to HC 25/25 from which our example comes.) ,

- Note: Notes: This was made circa 1990 by Edouard Dermit, the adopted son and legacy of Jean Cocteau who owns the reproduction rights. The prototype was a drawing by Cocteau made between 1937 and 1940. Verso is a text by Jean Cocteau which (translated) says:“The Seine, between your loving armsProtect the peace of an islandWhere to avoid the noises of the CityThe Arts Find themselves at home”
Provided with the work is the original of a certificate by Annie Guedras expert on the works of Jean Cocteau. It was issued at Perigueux, France, on the 15th July 2015
