About the GalleryCreighton-Davis Gallery has
relocated to
Venetian Village an upscale shopping district in Naples Florida.
The gallery promotes exhibitions of a wide variety of art and artists
with advertised shows and well attended opening receptions during the
winter season.
Creighton-Davis also operates year round as a internet based live auction gallery, liquidating estates, dealer overstocks, collections and other fine works of art from a variety of sources. Creighton-Davis acquires art from estates, private collections, museums, and other secondary sources and is always looking to purchase fine individual works or distinctive collections. (see selling art work below). The gallery has auctioned works by Rembrandt, Durer, Corot, Renoir, Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Miro, Chagall, Toulouse-Lautrec, Rouault, Magritte, Marsh, Bearden, Motherwell, Warhol, Stella, Lichtenstein, Dine, Hockney, Clemente, Dubuffet, and Chia, and probably well over 1000 other major and minor artists. With our extensive library, we receive, research, catalog and photograph fine works of art in our Naples facility and in other satelite locations when appropriate. Creighton-Davis avoids reproductive works and concentrates on unique expressions of the artist's pictorial and conceptual talents in all media (paintings, prints, sculptures, or constructions). |
