- State: Apparently the third state distinguished by the remarque "Amphore Metamorphique".
- Condition:In very fine condition, the embossing not crushed as the work is framed with a spacer to create a box like protective space in acrylic which also allows the verso to be seen in its entirety.
- Sheet: 23 by 31 in. (58 x 77 cm.)
- References: As documented and illustrated in the standard reference on authentic graphics by the artist by Albert Field, 75-16 (p. 102); Also Michler and Lopsinger, No. 791.
- Framing: Framed, but unexamined out of the frame. Frame size 30 1/2 by 38 1/2 in.
- Note: Rare undamaged example of this unusual and small editioned work (for Dali). There were two other editions of 90 each with a separate remarque (Grotte d'Or and Oiseau Pheonix")
